It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

Having over twenty years of experience in both technical and management roles, I always found that I was missing certain tools in my ‘toolbox’ – especially when it came to working with senior executives. When you join this Executive MBA program, you become part of a group of interesting people from various backgrounds, who all want to improve as professionals. Working side by side with these experienced and accomplished individuals has taught me things such as: new ways of approaching problems, paths of execution entirely different from mine, insights, and advice from sources I never had access to. The side effect: a reliable personal network, that would have taken years to build up.

Standardized methodological knowledge is not enough. Digital transformation is complex and multidimensional and different in every case.

The goal of the course and our greatest concern is therefore to make this knowledge about Smart Farming and the digital transformation possibilities of agriculture available to all interested parties in a compact form – based on cutting-edge research findings, practice- as well as future-oriented.

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.

It was a good mix of theory and application. I found the advice from the practitioners very helpful. Especially in the feedback sessions when we developed our projects. It was sometimes a bit overwhelming to understand all the theoretical parts of the lecture. But there are great additional resources to follow up on each topic to get a better understanding.

The Brewer Cursus was a great success! TUM has highly motivated lecturers who are very passionate about the subjects. The topics were all very interesting. The practical brewing process itself was very hands-on. We brewed in small groups. I was able to take away many tips and tricks for my small brewing operation I am planning to expand.
