What I particularly liked about this course is that it was not industry-specific, which allowed me to learn how other industries use Blockchain. Also, the course provides excellent foundational knowledge in each module. The group exercise and case study were also excellent ways to apply our new knowledge and solidify our understanding of the material. Not to mention, I made new acquaintances and friends thanks to the course!

The TUM.wood program takes a holistic approach to teaching wood construction. A team of lecturers and experts from theory and practice gives participants a comprehensive insight into the wood value chain. This is particularly interesting for experienced architects.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

Leadership means developing others – and that requires sound expertise in innovation and psychology, as well as a business creation mindset. In Talent Booster, we work on precisely these topics: we develop disruptive ideas, train leadership skills, and develop creative business models. This creates an environment in which courage, transformation, and entrepreneurial thinking can be experienced.

Additive manufacturing in its already great diversity makes it possible to get from a product idea to a finished product in record time. In addition, layer-by-layer construction can create structures with the most complex geometries, in multi-material construction or with integrated functionalities, which would not be so easy to realize with conventional technologies.

This course is a great chance to gain valuable experience in related challenges and problems as well as to acquire an understanding how to best apply and execute tools and concepts of vocational training.

The Data Science program was an excellent refresher that reconnected me with the close relationship between computer science and mathematics. In just six days, an impressively broad spectrum was covered – from R fundamentals and statistical foundations to advanced machine learning methods and deep learning architectures. I particularly valued the well-balanced combination of theoretical concepts like Bayesian inference with practical applications in reinforcement learning and optimization methods. An intensive program that provides comprehensive insights into modern data-driven approaches.

The Talent Booster combines evidence-based approaches from research with extensive practical experience in business transformation. Applying both perspectives to one’s own situation makes the Talent Booster especially valuable for aspiring leaders who are shaping digital transformation in organizations. I am truly grateful to the ‘Technical University of Munich’ for offering such a valuable certification program in ‘Strategic Supply Chain Management in Turbulent Times’. The course provided deep insights into concepts and practical applications as well as the analytics that will be instrumental to apply in real life scenarios. SITE has not only given me a deeper understanding of the core elements of successful strategizing, but has also provided me with valuable concepts and tools that enable me to transfer this knowledge to my everyday professional life. In particular, I liked the combination of teaching and practice-oriented workshops.

The course is for the Ag professionals from the Ag professionals. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. I enjoyed every second of it!

Not only did this specialization teach me the proper techniques of accounting and the different methods of preparing an income statement, it also taught me how to learn independently, how to persevere with a problem to find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, enabled me to continue to develop my accounting skills.

During my studies, I was able to understand what type of leader I am and how to make a real impact on my team and my stakeholders. Most importantly, I learned how to support my team members, help them grow and become the best version of themselves.
