It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

I liked that the Specialization included step-by-step exercises and tutorials. Unlike exercises where a student can succeed by simply doing as directed, the assignments foster active learning. The assignments were where I discovered whether I truly understood the material. This Specialization produces real learning.

Quantum technologies offer great opportunities but are still limited by certain physical and technical constraints. Thus, understanding quantum technologies is crucial to classify the current status and distinguish real potential from hype.

It was a good mix of theory and application. I found the advice from the practitioners very helpful. Especially in the feedback sessions when we developed our projects. It was sometimes a bit overwhelming to understand all the theoretical parts of the lecture. But there are great additional resources to follow up on each topic to get a better understanding.

Global concerns for future work emphasize the vital role of vocational education. This master’s degree is an excellent opportunity to connect with students and experts worldwide and discuss the impact of technological and digital transformation on VET and innovative training for industry professionals. The Global Aerospace Campus online course “Space Safety” has provided me with invaluable knowledge in the aspects of space debris, collision avoidance, and asteroid impacts.
