I liked that the Specialization included step-by-step exercises and tutorials. Unlike exercises where a student can succeed by simply doing as directed, the assignments foster active learning. The assignments were where I discovered whether I truly understood the material. This Specialization produces real learning.

The course was very intensive. It covered all aspects of urban mobility and related technical aspects. The professors, who are from reputed universities, made the chapters cohesive, conceptual and practical so that the students are able to understand the circumstances, past, present and future scenario of urban mobility in an industrialized environment.

At the start of our project phase at Kärcher, we were introduced to the most important people from the robotics team who provided us with the materials we needed. Through group interviews, we gathered valuable information for working on the objective questions. There were weekly feedback meetings to ensure mutual knowledge exchange. And although we could not be on site due to ongoing contact restrictions, we received continuous support.

What an outstanding course. The instructors make the videos engaging and convey the topics in a much more interesting manner than any other computer science lecturer I’ve ever seen. The course is structured very cleverly as well, with multiple video paths that you can take depending on how much support you need.

Receiving the TUM EMBA Alumni Association Christoph-Herrlich Scholarship came at one of the most difficult moments in my life, and it quite literally made it possible for me to complete my EMBA when I otherwise could not have. I was impressed by the variety of the course content and the professional organization of the course, as well as the presentation of many different perspectives on the BIM. I particularly enjoyed the presentations of the research work, which offered a fascinating glimpse into the future.

Being part of the TUM TVET Master is an honor for me. Not only have I learned about TVET and Educational Innovation, but I have also created a solid network around the globe. The hybrid format has worked well for me, allowing me to balance work, study, and family time. The peer and individual mentorship system has been key to maximizing my learning opportunities and achieving my Master’s degree.

It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.

Using timber construction meaningful and with a sense of proportion – we want to impart the sound specialist knowledge for this.

Even though I am studying acoustics, this online course was a good addition. It was always very interesting as I was able to dive into some topics a bit deeper than in my previous (non-virtual) courses. My knowledge on some topics became more solid and detailed.

The BIM Professional certification course is characterized by the very high quality of the lecturers and thus the content taught. It was possible to cover the entire range of Building Information Modeling topics from practical application examples to the latest innovative research results in the content of the certification course.

Standardized methodological knowledge is not enough. Digital transformation is complex and multidimensional and different in every case.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. Wood as a material offers enormous design potential for architecture and engineering. It can be used in a wide variety of ways. What fascinates me about wood is not only the aesthetic expression of the material, but also the special tectonics and the precision of digital production methods.
