Applying for an Executive MBA program at TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning

In the admission process for our Executive MBA programs, we select managers and professional experts who fit the respective profiles of our programs. The student admission and selection process is the same for all three of our Executive MBA programs.

The formal requirements for admission

  • Master’s entry qualification (Bachelor, Diploma, Magister, “Staatsexamen”)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, initial leadership experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English (skills will be assessed during the admission process)
  • Passing the multi-stage admissions process successfully

Intakes for the Executive MBA and Executive MBA in Business & IT take place twice a year, while the Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation has only one intake per year. The Fall Intake starts in October and the Spring Intake starts in April.

Admission Period

Candidates should submit their application before a deadline. Complete applications will be considered as they come in and given equal consideration.
