*Based on our experience, the German tax benefits help many of our students to self-finance their education as these can be worth of up to 50 % of tuition fees and program related travel costs. Please, consult your personal tax advisor for more details. For participants of our programs residing outside Germany this might be applicable, please check the situation with the local tax authorities in your country of residence.

General Management Curriculum

First, we strengthen your foundation. Our six general management courses form the basis of our comprehensive education. This is supplemented by two leadership and personal development modules, where you are equipped with new leadership skills and take part in our mentoring program to foster your personal growth.

Additionally, you will attend one course focusing on international management and intercultural cooperation. To round up the program curriculum you can specialize in a certain field by choosing two elective modules in Financial & Risk Management, Business Development & Innovation Management, Leadership & Strategic Management, Operations & Supply Change Management or you can also choose from a selection of our Certificate Programs. Please review with our Program Manager the Selected Certificate programs and respective costs that might apply.

Within the program you will be introduced into a strong network of industry experts and gain a comprehensive understanding of companies, business processes and functions. In evening sessions and power breakfasts, you will learn from senior-level practitioners from various industries and departments.

Through the individualized and practice-oriented approach of our Executive EMBA in General Management you will become a Transformational Leader.

For many years, TUM has enjoyed close strategic cooperation with Tsinghua University in Beijing. As a result, our EMBA students have the opportunity to study at one of Asia’s most renowned universities. The two-week stay in Beijing provides an overview of one of the world’s most dynamic economies and its political, historical and cultural features. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of communications in China in the media as well as criteria for doing business in Asia. In addition, company visits and evening sessions with experienced entrepreneurs paint an authentic picture of economic life in China.
