Focus on Renewable Resources and Take Climate Action into Your Own Hands

Combating climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Social pressure to decrease our carbon footprint and enforce stricter environmental regulations, increases in biotechnology and environmentally friendly production systems driven by changes in consumer behavior and an increased emphasis on creating a circular economy have created unprecedented momentum for sustainable development. To meet these expectations and challenges, firms have begun searching for candidates who can provide them with new and innovative approaches to managing sustainable practices.

Growing rapidly in tandem with the increasing scientific and technical challenges of using biogenic and regenerative resources are the entrepreneurial demands being placed on employees by their respective companies. Employers are beginning to require their future employees complement these desired structural changes away from a fossil fuel driven value chain towards a bio-based and more sustainable circular economy. In order to manage these challenges, employees must be able to shape innovative entrepreneurial developments while understanding their influence on society and the economy with the necessary depth and complexity.

At TUM Campus Straubing, you can focus on renewable resources and take climate action into your own hands! With the winter semester application period ending on July 15th, we decided to dedicate this week to the Bachelor’s in Management & Technology with a specialization in Renewable Resources.

This week, everything on social media will revolve around the Bachelor’s in Management & Technology at the TUM Campus Straubing and exciting topics like sustainability and green energy. Hear from our students and professors as they discuss the details of the program and what they love about their focus on renewable resources.
