Innovative Virtual Recruiting: Great Success of the 4th Reverse Career Fair

21 students had the opportunity to exchange ideas with interesting company representatives from different industries.

On July 17, 2020, the fourth Reverse Career Fair of the TUM Management Alumni e.V. attracted the attention of renowned companies looking for high potential candidates. This original concept follows the motto: “Turning the tables on recruiters”. The structure of this career fair resembles a fair where students are the exhibitors and company representatives, the visitors. This year, due to the changed conditions, the concept was implemented virtually for the first time. Company representatives had the opportunity to get to know the top 5 % of TUM School of Management’s Master students virtually via ZOOM. Exciting conversations, intensive exchange on possible career opportunities, and agile conversations were met with the highest approval from both sides. It is now up to the students as well as the company representatives to decide on the development of their professional future!

All students joined from home and conducted discussions virtually.

For TUM Management Alumni e.V., this was the first virtual format of the event series. For the second half of 2020, the association is looking forward to the continuation of similar, exclusive events.
