International Summer School 2019

After the success of the TUM School of Management’s first International Summer School last year, the program will be offered again in 2019.

The 2019 edition will be held from July 15 to July 26 in Munich, and will repeat the popular “Sustainable Entrepreneurship – Theory and Practice” program introduced last year. This 12-day program aims to give participants practical and theoretical foundations to become a changemaker capable of achieving economic, social, and ecological goals.

Students will be able to take advantage of the expertise of the triple-crown accredited TUM School of Management while learning to create a sustainable business model. Dedicated academics and sustainable entrepreneurs from different industries, including fashion, food and energy, will lead workshops to turn grand societal challenges into business opportunities. Participants from all over the world will work in small groups to develop a business concept and pitch their ideas for the conclusion of the program.

In addition to the workshops and lectures, a supporting cultural program will provide the students a taste of the innovative scene and life style in Munich and Bavaria. This year the participants will experience a beer garden, the Tollwood festival, and the Bavarian Alps along with behind-the scenes visits to food, energy, and fashion start-ups.

Send your application with a short letter of motivation and your résumé until April 1, 2019 to get the early-bird rate, and secure your place in the program. Highlights from last year and information about this year’s program and the application process can be found here.
