International Summer School 2019

After the success of the TUM School of Management’s first International Summer School last year, the program will be offered again in 2019.

The 2019 edition will be held from July 15 to July 26 in Munich, and will repeat the popular “Sustainable Entrepreneurship – Theory and Practice” course program introduced last year. This 12-day program aims to give participants the practical and theoretical foundation to become a changemaker capable of achieving economic, social, and ecological goals.

Students will be able to take advantage of the expertise of the triple-crown accredited TUM School of Management as they absorb the theory and practice of creating a sustainable business model. Academic experts and successful entrepreneurs from a variety of industries will help lead workshops that turn challenges into opportunities. Participants from around the world will work in small groups to develop a business concept and pitch presentation for the conclusion of the program.

In addition to the workshops and lectures, a supporting program will provide a taste of the business and cultural scenes in Munich and Bavaria. Participants this year can look forward to visits to a beer garden, the Tollwood festival, and the Alps along with behind-the scenes looks at local food, energy, and fashion start-ups.

Applications will be accepted until May 10, with an early-bird rate available until April 1. Highlights from last year and information about this year’s program and the application process can be found here.
