Heilbronn Workshop on Innovation, Technological Change and International Trade

Prof. Dr. Hanna Hottenrott (TUM School of Management) and Prof. Dr. Jens Wrona (Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), Heinrich-Heine-University (HHU) Düsseldorf) are organizing a workshop on innovation, technological change, and international trade. It takes place from the 21st to the 23rd of March 2019 at the new TUM Campus Heilbronn.

After a welcome dinner on the first evening, the following two days are filled with sessions of speakers from different universities on various topics. These include:

  • Labour Market Effects of Globalization and Technological Change
  • Globalization and Innovation
  • Trade Shocks
  • Cross-Border Activities and Technical Change
  • Inventor Mobility and Internationalization of Science
  • Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Creation

The workshop will be held at the brand-new Heilbronn Campus of TU Munich, which is located in the center of Heilbronn. The familiar, modern campus in Heilbronn offers students intensive supervision as well as digital teaching and learning methods. And all this in the midst of a prospering economic region with various family businesses as the backbone of the German economy.
