HelloBetter offers scientifically proven psychological help and online psychotherapy via browser or app. Philip Ihde, a board member of TUM Management Alumni e.V., is also the Co-Founder und COO of the company. When the spread of the coronavirus caused a worldwide lockdown, he and his team didn’t hesitate. They recognized the urgent need of many people to manage their anxiety and stress level caused by insecurities and provided a variety of measures to help people with stress symptoms shortly after. Those measures include: a Facebook community group, a psychological telephone hotline, a blog with helpful tips and tricks, explanatory videos as well as live Q&As with psychotherapists within the Facebook group chat. The project was also part of the INITIATIVES FACING CORONA of the TUM School of Management.

“I am very pleased that the World Economic Forum has also recognized and honored the great performance of Hello Better”, says Julia Garrelfs, Managing Director at TUM Management Alumni e.V.. “We are happy to call such visionary people members of our association.”
