Mental Health Day: Join our expert lectures on October 10th

October 10th, 2023, is World Mental Health Day. On this day, we as the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning offer a variety of virtual impulses on the topic of Mental Health.

The topic of Mental Health is becoming increasingly important in the modern working world. The reasons for this are manifold: be it increasing stress factors at the workplace or recent crises such as the coronavirus pandemic.

Through our expert lectures, we would like to create greater awareness of the importance of mental health on the one hand. On the other hand, we would like to provide all interested parties with valuable impulses within the framework of various online short lectures and workshops, with the aim of strengthening one’s own resources and developing beneficial strategies.

From now on, a registration is possible until the beginning of the respective course. Mark your calendars. 

The following courses will take place on October 10:

Welcome & introductory impulses

Prof. Claudia Peus has been Professor of Research and Science Management at the TU Munich since May 2011, Senior Vice President for Talent Management and Diversity since October 2017, and founding director of the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning since December 2019.
In her impulse, she will address what Mental Health is and why it is relevant in the workplace.

Prof. Claudia Buengeler is Professor of Human Resources and Organization at the Institute of Business Administration at Kiel University (CAU), director of the Kiel Experimental Economic Laboratory (KEEL) and founding member of the Kiel Institute for Responsible Innovation (KIRI). In her current DFG research project LEADwell, she is shedding light on causal effects of leadership on employee well-being. In her impulse, she will share first findings from it.
